Ode to 43 Years of nation building

red, white, stars and crescent..
shouldnt we be proud of our nation?
she brought us up, educate and kept us safe,
only for us to all escape.
where is the patriotism inculcate?
it is all left to rot at a foreign land's gate.
who would be left here in this nation of ours in years to come, foreigners, expatriates and lots of useless bums..
